Panorama, British Columbia

Situated on the edge of the famous Bugaboos and ancient Purcell Mountains, breathtaking scenery surrounds an intimate mountain village. Long known as a mountain resort with soul, this is Panorama Mountain Village.

Panorama offers a world class experience with a personal feel and no crowds. This undiscovered jewel is a year round base camp for endless activity.

Magnificent golf and unparalleled skiing and boarding are the basics. Try nordic skiing on 11 miles of groomed trails. The heated slopeside Panorama Springs Water Park takes the edge off sore muscles at the end of the day.

It is a place for people who desire their own secret hiding place. A craving that inspires them to drive a scenic 1 1/2 hours beyond Banff National Park, where true mountain adventure awaits.

While in Panorama

With annual snowfalls of up to 36 feet, Panorama is part of the largest heli-ski region in the world. Spectacular scenery, expansive glaciers and quality glade skiing by helicopter redefines the meaning of "accessible wilderness."

In summer, its only a quick drive to Lake Windermere to enjoy endless water favorites. Water skiing, Jet skiing, tubing, lake canoeing and kayaking are just a few. Or ramp up the adrenaline with white water rafting and kayaking on Toby Creek. Fly fishermen calmly cast the region's numerous lakes and streams.

Taking its character from the mountain, the Greywolf Golf Course challenges players with every rock and roll, while rewarding the eye at every hole.

The setting is serene, a mountain range far away from urban-ization. It's humbling, the entire course tucked away into a few seams beneath massive slopes.
